Lima/Allen County College Access Program

The mission of the Lima/Allen County College Access Program is to provide free assistance to individuals of all ages from Lima, Allen County and surrounding counties in pursuing an education beyond high school.

Resource Centers:  Open every Tuesday during the school year from 6-7:30 PM at the YMCA Annex for free assistance to individuals of all ages on colleges, careers, financial aid, ACT preparation, and scholarships. 

GEAR UP - We are one of eight sites in Ohio to have received a federal GEAR UP grant to offer services to parents, students, and staff at Lima Senior and South Middle School.  Services include advisors in the schools to help with the college process, campus visits, tutoring for academics and OGT, and fee waivers for ACT and applications.  Expanded to North and West Middle Schools with an advisor available one day per week, parent workshops on the college process, campus visits, and classroom support.  Go to contact information for the names and numbers for the GEAR UP advisors.
