OCAN of Hancock County's mission is to increase awareness, and successful completion of, quality postsecondary programs including apprenticeships as well as certificate, associate, and bachelor degree programs. Our goal is to help as many Hancock County students as possible achieve a higher education.

 

THE A-B-C'S OF FINANCIAL AID

A ...Apply for your P.I.N.--(Personal Identification Number) to electronically sign your FAFSA  at www.pin.ed.gov

  • Time required: 60 seconds or less

B ... Bust Out the FAFSA--(Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Filling out the FAFSA is the key to all Federal Financial Aid, and it's easy to do at  www.fafsa.ed.gov.

  • Time required:  about 30  minutes

  • Time required: Virtually none!

OHIO CAREER INFORMATION SYSTEM (OCIS)

   The Ohio Career Information System (OCIS) is a new service offered by OCAN of Hancock County.  OCIS provides information about careers, college, military, and jobs.  This service is available on the internet and can be accessed in your home.
