Welcome !
Early Awareness

We all know the importance of reaching young students with the message that higher education is within their reach, regardless of their environment or background. But how can we accomplish this goal? One way is through the establishment of successful early awareness programs.

This section contains the resources you need to develop and launch an effective early awareness program. Created by financial aid professionals, primary and secondary school administrators, and representatives from community-based organizations, this section of the Building Blocks toolkit gives step-by-step instructions that can help you to:

  • identify the right program for your target age group,
  • plan your activities,
  • address budget constraints,
  • implement your program, and
  • evaluate your program's success.

In short, "The ABC's of Early Awareness" can help make establishing an early awareness program as easy as ABC.
