About this opportunity
Achieving E[VALUE]ation is a two day workshop series with inter-session homework and coaching sponsored by Great Lakes Higher Education Guaranty Corporation.
The workshop series will take place in Columbus, Ohio and provide you with fundamentals and applications of evaluation, tools to get started, and hands-on, tailored assistance from evaluation experts on designing and implementing an evaluation plan for your project or program.
Participants who attend all sessions and complete assignments will leave the final session with an actual completed grant application.
Who should participate?
- Teams of three to four collaborators* working on a program or initiative that addresses college and career awareness, college and career readiness, college enrollment, and/or college success
- Those interested in gaining the funding advantage by designing, implementing, and communicating effective evaluation plans
- Executive Directors, Program Managers/Coordinators, interested in effectively engaging partners to design and carry out sustainable and impactful programs
- OCAN Members**

- Professional assessment of your organization/team/initiative’s capacity for evaluation
- Logic model development
- Evaluation plan development
- Proposal development
- Individualized time with evaluation experts
- Look at real examples on integrating evaluation into your everyday work
- Learn to set up and use the best methods to collect and track the data pertinent to your project
- Locate resources on utilizing and understanding evaluation tools
